TWO factories processing foo chuk (thin dried tofu sheets) on Penang island were slapped with three compound notices and fines totalling RM7,500 for supplying unlicensed food products.
Penang Health Department environmental health, food safety and quality officer Mohd Wazir Khalid said both factories in Lembah Permai, Tanjung Bungah, Penang, were each issued with a notice compound of RM3,500.
