Keep dressed chickens fresh in chillers, traders told

THE policy where chicken traders have to keep their dressed birds in chillers at their stalls is meant to maintain freshness.

In a statement, the Penang Island City Council (MBPP) said with temperature set between 0°C and 4°C, it could prevent bacterial breeding and maintain the freshness of chickens.
