A FOODIE attraction that began in 1955, the famous laksa stall at the foothill of Kek Lok Si Temple in Penang will be closing its doors for now.

Many residents living nearby made a beeline for a taste of their favourite local delicacy after learning about the temporary closure effective yesterday.
