THE Covid-19 situation in Sibu could worsen during the Gawai celebration if people do not follow the standard operating procedure set by the government, warns Dr Annuar Rapaee.

In his Facebook Live stream on May 22, the Housing and Local Government assistant minister substantiated this by pointing out that the recent spike in cases, in the area, was caused by people visiting one another’s houses during Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations.
