RESIDENTS living in a flood-prone part of Taman Seah Hong in Klang can rest easy as several mitigation measures have been planned for the neighbourhood.

The measures, which include widening a 390m drain stretch along Jalan Pekan Baru 26 and building a detention pond on a small plot of land sandwiched between Jalan Pekan Baru 26 and 27, will be carried out following a proposal by Klang Municipal Council’s (MPK) Engineering Department.
