Bittersweet news for Cameron Highlands flower farmers


Busy bees: Workers at a flower farm in Cameron Highlands rushing to harvest flowers to be packed and delivered before the enhanced MCO takes effect in five areas in Kampung Raja, which is home to many large vegetable and flower farms.

FLOWER growers in Cameron Highlands, Pahang are relieved after receiving news that the floral industry has been allowed to resume operations from June 12.

Human Resources Minister Datuk Seri M. Saravanan made the announcement through a video on his Facebook page, stating that the National Security Council (NSC) had granted permission for the sale of flowers for religious and cultural purposes, with strict standard operating procedures in place.
