Zamani Ahmad sworn in as ninth Shah Alam Mayor


SHAH ALAM (Bernama): Datuk Zamani Ahmad Mansor (pic) was sworn in as the city's ninth mayor at the Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) town hall here on Tuesday (June 15).

Zamani Ahmad, 50, whose appointment as mayor took effect Monday (June 14), joined the civil service in 1996 at the Land and Cooperative Development Ministry, then worked at the Transport Ministry (1997), Selangor Road Transport Department (2001), National Service Division at the Defence Ministry (2003), National Security Division (2004), National Security Council (2007) and also served in the Public Service Department (2008).
