THE villagers in Kampung Tanjung Langsat, Pasir Gudang in Johor, are thankful for the state Fire and Rescue Department’s quick action, especially when dealing with human-wildlife encounters.
The village chief, Khadni Hamzah, 53, said fire and rescue personnel had recently come to the village twice within a week – to remove a hornet’s nest and to catch a python.
