Those elected must help develop Sibu, says local council chairman

VOTERS should choose election candidates who can bring development funds to Sibu, the local council chief says.

Sibu Municipal Council (SMC) chairman Clarence Ting said the town had been short of funds as only Nangka seat, where the incumbent is Dr Annuar Rapaee, is under the Gabungan Parti Sarawak-led state government.
