THE construction of a telecommunication tower over five storeys high next to a playground in Weld Quay in George Town, Penang, has caused nearby residents to raise concerns over safety of children playing there.
Tanjong MCA division chairman Loke Poh Chye said residents had voiced objections due to it being located next to a park with a playground.
