Former mining pools may be converted for other uses

THE state government is considering developing former mining pools in Manjoi for aquaculture and recreational activities.

Perak Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad said the state would need to do research into the structure of mining pools to see if they were suitable for such purpose.
