Selayang council gets creative in dealing with illegal dumping of rubbish


CCTV cameras in several parts of Selayang will catch people who dump rubbish illegally.

THIS year, similar to other local councils in Selangor, Selayang Municipal Council (MPS) has had to deal with indiscriminate dumping of rubbish.

MPS reported various incidents where people were fined RM1,000 each for throwing rubbish in undesignated areas around Selayang, particularly domestic waste at bins meant for market traders.
