Christmas Day clean-up at school

Tables and chairs as well as other equipment have to be removed and replaced after SMK Maxwell was flooded.

THE school motto of “Once a Maxwellian, Forever a Maxwellian’’ rang true as the “old boys” of SMK Maxwell in Jalan Tun Ismail, Kuala Lumpur rallied to clean up the school after it was flooded on Dec 18.

The 104-year-old school was inundated with floodwaters up to 1.5m high during the heavy rains that affected much of the Klang Valley, causing severe damage.
