Reviving Mersing’s tourism industry

Mersing District Council is planning to boost the local economy through its ‘Teroka Mersing’ initiative.

Mersing District Council is planning to jump-start the local tourism economy through its “Teroka Mersing” (Explore Mersing) initiative this year.

Its president Norazmi Amir Hamzah said the programme would start with a town hall discussion with the locals, government agencies and island residents this month.
