Residents who were invited to the Sentul Perdana community hall in Kuala Lumpur to receive a RM150 Chinese New Year cash gift from Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) were pleasantly surprised when they received an additional RM50 each.

Later, they found out that this was to make up for the exclusion of mandarin oranges which they were supposed to receive in their gift packs.
