Make sure Sibu’s fire hydrants usable during emergencies, public told

FIRE hydrants could not be used during the Taman Permai fire in Sibu as the covers were sealed shut with tar.

Sungai Merah Fire and Rescue station chief Janggan Muling said 28 firemen from the Sungai Merah and Central stations had rushed to the scene of the fire on Feb 1.
