A RETENTION pond connected to two other similar ponds in Ara Impian Recreational Park in Ara Damansara, Petaling Jaya, has dried up after a side wall near a weir collapsed.
Residents there said water from the middle pond started seeping into the third pond through the broken wall, resulting in the pond drying up.

Repair work on the side wall started on Saturday.
Tarpaulin sheets are used to cover areas with landslips to prevent further erosion at the embankment near the retention ponds.
