‘Stop return of illegal tour operators’

Suhairi says Johor will hand over RM1.6mil aid to its tourism players.

Malaysia Tour Guides Association (MTGA) hopes the government will take steps to prevent the return of illegal tour operators who have plagued the tourism industry even before the start of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Its president and Johor chapter chairman Jimmy Leong said about 4,000 individuals were involved in offering uninsured tour services to Singaporeans planning to travel to Johor and up to Kuala Lumpur.
