Devotees carrying one of the deities’ statue back to Johor Ancient Temple on the final day of the festival.

SPREAD over four days, the Chingay festival is filled with significance for the Chinese community in Johor, with each day holding a special meaning and marked by different rituals.

It is observed annually from the 19th to 22nd day of the lunar new year, which were from Feb 19 to 22 this year.
