Cemeteries open for Qing Ming after two-year hiatus

CHINESE cemeteries in Penang operated by 18 associations will open for the Qing Ming festival this year, albeit with strict standard operating procedures (SOP).

Run by the Penang United Chinese Charitable Cemeteries Association, the cemeteries, which have been closed during Qing Ming for the past two years, will be opening their gates to families this year.
