MORE functional and recreational landscapes are needed around Johor Baru city centre to give the public a chance to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and relax with their friends and family, says Johor Baru mayor Datuk Noorazam Osman.

He added that Tunku Mahkota Ismail Youth Centre (TMIYC) in Hutan Bandar Johor Baru was one such space that could attract the public, especially youths, to be part of the Johor Baru development agenda.
