Free farming seminar for youths


Tan and Gurmit hope to generate interest among youths to venture into farming and organic food business.

The Centre For Environment, Technology and Development Malaysia (Cetdem) is hosting a seminar for youths titled “Farming for and by the Next Generation – Organic” on March 19 and 20 at Hotel Capitol Kuala Lumpur in Bukit Bintang.

Open to those aged between 18 and 45, participants will learn about organic farming industry practices in Malaysia, the industry’s supply chain, organic certification, food processing, waste management and the food and beverage sector.
