WATSONS Malaysia is rolling out a Gaya Raya Luar Biasa celebration this festive season with its festive short film, a slew of deals and attractive prizes worth up to RM3mil as well as nationwide discounts from now till May 9.
Speaking at the launch event, Watsons Malaysia managing director Caryn Loh says as the country moves into an endemic phase, she wishes all Malaysians a luar biasa celebration.

Held at EQ Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, the audience were treated to a special screening of a much-anticipated brand film, featuring a star-studded line-up of Malaysian celebrities including Watsons ambassador Ayda Jebat alongside Datuk Jalaludin Hassan, Fauziah Datuk Ahmad Daud, Nabil Mahir, Jinnyboy and Dolla.
An effervescent Fauziah said it was an amazing experience working with the talented cast and applauds the creativity that went behind this short film.
“I’ve been following Watsons commercials but this is on an entirely different level,” she said.
Concurring with her sentiment, Jalaludin said that the time spent during shooting the film was special, adding “it was like (we were) a big family.”
He also admits he was nervous nailing his iconic phrase from his days as host on Who Wants to be a Millionaire in the short film.
“I was so worried if I could do it (recite the iconic line adakah anda pasti?) after 20 years,” he laughed.

As for Nabil, he said the experience was extraordinary as he was not only able to act alongside his idol Jalaludin, but his teacher Fauziah as well.
Following the film screening, Ayda and Dolla took to the stage for a special performance of the Watsons Gaya Raya Luar Biasa song.
“I’ve worked with Dolla before and performed with them during last year’s Raya as well,” Ayda said, adding that the entire experience was fun and amazing.
“Ayda is always a joy to work with, she’s a ball of energy so performing with her we feel each other’s energy, it’s absolutely amazing. We always have a great time performing at Watsons’ events,” Dolla said.
