TWO sister temples that protected the cultural heritage of Penang during the pandemic were recognised by George Town World Heritage Incorporated (GTWHI).

Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow presented the GTWHI Heritage Recognition and Award to the Thai Pak Koong (Ng Suk) Temple in King Street under the Conservation Enhancement and Adaptation category.
