SEVEN years ago, when Mohd Noorhardy Mohd Noorzain’s restaurant and car rental business went bust, the Universiti Putra Malaysia graduate took up selling MD2 pineapples, touted to be the sweetest variety.

He borrowed his father’s one-tonne lorry and along with his wife, Noorhardy opened a stall at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS) selling the fruit whole, cut or juiced.
