A TANK has broken down along Jalan Damansara, at the slip road near Carcosa to Kuala Lumpur Sentral.

According to DBKL's Kuala Lumpur Control and Command Centre's Facebook, the tank had broken down at the second left most lane of the slip road.

“The middle lane is blocked,” it read.

A Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) spokesman said the tank was used for the Merdeka parade rehearsal on Friday (Aug 26) morning.

"DBKL officers had gone on site to assess the situation.

A few rangers were reported to have arrived at the scene at around 10.50am.

"The Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) had also been informed of the situation," he said.

It was learnt that the tank had been moved and the road was clear.

Twitter users have also reported a traffic crawl from Jalan Duta towards KL Sentral.
