‘Highway will help drive Segamat’s development’


BUILDING a highway into Segamat should be top priority under the East Coast Economic Region (ECER) plan to successfully drive the district’s economy, says Datuk Zahari Sarip (pic).

The Johor agriculture, agro-based industry and rural development committee chairman said the district was located in the middle of the state with no easy access to cities like Kuala Lumpur and Johor Baru.
