Fresh look for JB’s heritage buildings


The buildings near the 140-year-old Johor Ancient Temple in Jalan Trus, Johor Baru will be repainted as part of the heritage rejuvenation project.

A TOTAL of RM1.5mil has been allocated by Johor government for the Johor Baru Heritage Rejuvenation Project, which is expected to start by year end.

State housing and local government committee chairman Datuk Mohd Jafni Md Shukor said the project, to be led by Johor Baru City Council, would involve repainting heritage buildings around the city centre.
