PETALING Jaya City Council (MBPJ) can issue a “notice to correct” (NTC) to errant contractors appointed by KDEB Waste Management, if they do not meet MBPJ standards.
MBPJ Solid Waste Management and Public Cleansing Department director Lee Lih Shyan said such a notice could be issued, but the city council could not terminate the contract of errant waste contractors.
