WITH more rain expected in the coming months as the northeast monsoon session looms, volunteer firefighters will be roped in to play an important role in rescue operations in high-risk areas.
Perak Fire and Rescue Department director Azmi Osman said there were 42 volunteer firefighters association teams with 1,244 members in the state.
