MPS moves in on illegal traders outside market


Enforcement officers confiscating 40 baskets of produce from three foreign traders at the market in Batu Caves.

SELAYANG Municipal Council (MPS) conducted a raid at Pasar Borong Selayang to tackle the problem of foreigners trading illegally near the market located in Batu Caves, Selangor.

“Enforcement action was taken against three illegal foreign traders for hawking along the five-foot way around the market, for being a nuisance, contributing to congestion and not maintaining cleanliness,” MPS Public Relations Unit said in a statement.
