Nurul Ashikin is tipped to contest in Ampang under Pejuang.
Pejuang women’s youth wing (Pejuanita Muda) chief Dr Nurul Ashikin Mabahwi is one of the names being spoken of as a candidate for the Ampang parliamentary seat in the 15th General Election (GE15).
The 32-year-old with a PhD in regional environment systems from Shibaura Institute of Technology in Japan, has been very vocal about female representation in the elections and instrumental in getting more young women involved in politics.
