Bank opens its first pet-friendly branch

STANDARD Chartered Malaysia has launched its first pet-friendly branch at Plaza Arkadia in Desa ParkCity, Kuala Lumpur, as part of the bank’s efforts in integrating with the Desa ParkCity community.

To further cater to the needs of the neighbourhood, the branch’s banking hours have also been extended to 7pm from Monday to Saturday.

The bank’s unique proposition is in line with its aim to drive commerce and prosperity through a culture of inclusion, by supporting local communities and offering banking solutions that fit into its customers’ lifestyles.

The launch was attended by Standard Chartered Malaysia managing director and consumer, private and business banking head Sammeer Sharma, affluent and wealth management head Nicholas Soon and branch manager Kelvin Chua.
