Klang district on alert for high tide up to 5.3m and high-intensity rain


COASTAL areas in Klang district have been put on alert as high tides of up to 5.3m high are expected on Nov 24 (at 5.55am) and Nov 25 (6.35am), with the possibility of a deluge due to short spans of high intensity rains followed by continuous drizzle.

According to the National Hydrographic Centre in Port Klang, the high tide phenomenon is expected to begin Nov 22 and continue until Nov 27, with those two days anticipated to record the highest tides.
