Batang Kali landslide: Three survivors discharged from Hospital Selayang

THREE of the four Batang Kali survivors sent to Hospital Selayang have been discharged.

One of them is a pregnant woman who is believed to be in her second trimester.

Sources said she and a man were discharged and taken home by family members in the late evening on Sunday (Dec 18).

They were supposed to leave earlier but decided to stay when they heard that Bandar Tun Razak MP Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah and Health Minister Dr Zaliha Mustafa would be visiting.

"Later, the expectant mother looked happy to go home and said 'thank you' to us," said a hospital source.

The third survivor was discharged at around 4.30pm.

It is learnt that the fourth survivor, a male, is in stable condition but still needs treatment and will be warded a while longer.
