PENANG Gerakan chairman Oh Tong Keong presented mandarin oranges to Star Media Group, represented by senior news editor Alex Teng, during a courtesy visit to The Star Pitt St in Jalan Masjid Kapitan Keling, George Town.

The hour-long session saw both Oh and Teng exchanging views on the current national affairs and upcoming state polls.

Earlier, staff members from Courtyard by Marriott Penang also dropped by the office, with the hotel’s marketing communications manager Ketty Ooi handing over yee sang to Teng as a gesture of impending good fortune.

Penang youth and sports committee chairman Soon Lip Chee also shared festive cheer with two boxes of mandarin oranges.

On hand to receive the items were Star Media Group assistant news editor Tan Sin Chow and chief photographer KT Goh.

Also present were Penang Youth Development Corporation general manager Dr Gwee Sai Ling and deputy general manager Ng Hooi Ting.
