Pavilion Kuala Lumpur is celebrating the “Abundance of Prosperity” in its Chinese New Year campaign.

The Centre Court has been transformed into an oriental garden featuring cute rabbits, vibrant flowers and hundreds of lanterns.

The centrepiece features a pair of prosperity rabbits to usher in good luck and fortune.

Pavilion Kuala Lumpur’s retail chief executive officer Joyce Yap said,“This year, we went all out to impress and engage shoppers from Lancome’s “Let’s Bloom Together” decorations at the main entrance to the Carlsberg and Hennessy pop-ups at Connection.”

The Hennessy pop-up includes a carousel showcasing the brand’s distinctive cognac, an art gallery, and photo-worthy displays.

At the Carlsberg pop-up, there is a mixologist station featuring Carlsberg-inspired cocktails.

Shoppers can also browse the Instagrammable Carlsberg art gallery.

“Pavilion Kuala Lumpur is kicking off an exciting year-long celebration to mark our 15th anniversary,” said Yap.

“We want shoppers to share in the joy of this milestone.

“The retail industry has faced a challenging few years due to the Covid-19 pandemic. I am happy to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

“I wish to thank the public for showing us love and support over the past 15 years.”

Shoppers can enjoy “Leap of Prosperity” acrobatic lion dances at the Centre Court on weekends and public holidays at 1.30pm.

There will also be dance performances and walkabouts on weekends and public holidays at 2pm.

Shoppers should keep an eye out for the God of Prosperity who will be arriving at 3pm.

A magician dressed in Chinese New Year attire will surprise everyone on weekends and public holidays, showering customers with candy, fortune cookies, chocolates and even coupons.

Additionally, on Jan 29 and Feb 5 at 5pm, shoppers may catch Taylor’s College’s “Classical New Beginnings” drum performance.
