HUNZA Group is celebrating its 45th anniversary with a year-long lucky draw campaign that offers prizes worth about RM1mil.

It is open to buyers of units in selected Penang projects, namely MUZE @ PICC and SENZE @ PICC in Bayan Lepas and Alila2 in Tanjung Bungah on the island as well as Mekarsari Unggul in Bandar Putra Bertam on the mainland.

The value of properties purchased will determine the number of entries each buyer gets.

The grand prize winner will drive away a brand new Mercedes-Benz C-Class worth close to RM300,000.

There is also a Hyundai Kona worth RM120,000 among many other prizes.

Full terms and conditions are available on the group’s social media platforms.

The campaign was announced by Hunza Group managing director Datuk Khor Siang Gin and executive director Khor Tze Ming in a ceremony held at its retail asset, Gurney Paragon Mall.

The event also saw the unveiling of the group’s 45th anniversary logo and theme – Fortifying the Future – which reflects its commitment towards the delivery of superior products and services.

Siang Gin said the anniversary milestone was significant, showing how far the company has come since founder Datuk Seri Khor Teng Tong purchased his first piece of land in Penang in the late 1970s.

“Four and a half decades later, Hunza Group is now an award-winning property developer with 16,000 residential and commercial units across Malaysia in its portfolio,” said Siang Gin.

He also announced that the maiden project of PICC (Penang International Commercial City), MUZE, is approaching completion.

Thereafter, Phase 2 will kick off. It includes three towers of serviced residences, among them SENZE, and other commercial components.

The group recently signed a joint development deal with Penang Housing Board to build the first RMMPg (Rumah Mampu Milik Pulau Pinang) called The Millenia in Bayan Lepas.

On the mainland, Mekarsari Unggul will be launched this year following the success of the current phase, Mekarsari Anggun.

Upcoming in the heart of Juru is a mixed development project called The H City while Sungai Petani, Kedah, will see a new phase of Taman Seri Bayu II.

On the retail front, Tze Ming announced that France’s Decathlon (the largest sporting goods retailer in the world) and Nitori (Japan’s largest home furnishing chain) would make their debut soon at Gurney Paragon Mall which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year.

“A revamped retail loyalty app called The H Circle which will serve as a property management app for assets under Hunza Group is also in the works,” she said.

Gurney Paragon Mall’s Hop Into Prosperity CNY campaign offers various redemptions and rewards.

The group will also hold a CNY open house at its PICC sales gallery on Jan 28.
