Plenty of nostalgic classics at hotel’s break of fast meal


Avante Hotel’s Santapan Rasa Sayang 2023 buffet dinner returns to Chek’s Coffee House.

Avante Hotel’s Santapan Rasa Sayang 2023 buffet dinner is back this Ramadan at Chek’s Coffee House and it promises more nostalgic dishes.

This season’s signature dish –Daging Bakar Masak Lemak – is a Negri Sembilan classic presented by chef Arih Ahmad who is inspired by his mother’s cooking.

Spiced with lemongrass, bird’s eye chilli and turmeric, the smoked meat is then with creamy coconut milk and belimbing besi.

This combination results in spicy, rich and smokey flavours.

Another show-stopper is the juicy Kambing Golek, grilled and served at the buffet counter.

Festive classics not to be missed include chicken rendang, ketupat, satay, sup gearbox, grilled fish, shawarma and nasi tomato.

A fine selection of international dishes will also be served, including assorted sushi and sashimi, barbecue steak, chicken chop, Black Pepper Fried Crabs, Sweet and Sour Squid as well as Mongolian Stir-fried Beef.

For desserts, there are apam balik, pisang goreng, cekodok, cucur bilis and ais kacang as well as assorted kuih and French pastries.

The Santapan Rasa Sayang 2023 buffet dinner is available from March 23 to April 21, from 6.30pm to 10.30pm.

It is priced at RM208nett per adult, RM148nett per senior citizen and RM104nett per child.

Avante Hotel is located at in Persiaran Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya.

It is connected via an elevated covered walkway to Bandar Utama MRT Station.
