TransNusa’s twice daily Jakarta-KL-Jakarta flights will depart/land at KLIA and Terminal 3 of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport.
INDONESIAN carrier TransNusa is stepping into the Malaysian commercial aviation industry with two daily flights to Kuala Lumpur starting April 14.
TransNusa introduces a new travel segment and prides itself as a “premium service carrier”.
The airline said its fares rivalled those of low-cost commercial airlines while the comfort level could compete with full-service airlines.
It said that it was the complete package and they set themselves apart from the rest of the full-fledged and low-cost airlines operating in South-East Asia.
The airline said it had taken care to ensure that all its passengers enjoyed hospitable service on and off the aircraft.
TransNusa has also ensured that all its flights will be departing from and arriving at only major international airports.
Flights from Indonesia will land at the main KL International Airport and similarly, flights to Jakarta will arrive at Terminal 3 of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport – ensuring passengers are able to take advantage and enjoy the premium services at the terminal.
TransNusa further said that it had ensured that all Jakarta-Kuala Lumpur-Jakarta flights would be within the prime flight schedule hours that served the corporate and leisure markets, which have the greatest demand.
Malaysians will soon have the opportunity to enjoy all of TransNusa’s services as it will be launching its inaugural flight to Malaysia this month specifically for the Hari Raya Aidilfitri holidays.
TransNusa currently has five planes in its fleet – four Airbus A320s and one Comac ARJ 21.
Passengers will be delighted to know about the ample legroom onboard, said the airline.
TransNusa’s A320s have a 168-174 seat configuration that allows for 76cm to 79cm of legroom, which matches full-service airlines.
TransNusa passengers get to enjoy free baggage allowance of 15kg to 30kg depending on the type of product bundle the passenger has purchased prior to the flight.
Similarly, depending on the type of product bundle the passenger purchases, they can get unlimited flight changes as well as meals.
For inflight meals, there is a plethora of cuisines – from the traditional Nasi Padang originating from North Sumatra, to the robust flavours of its Chicken Cordon Bleu – thus ensuring there is something for different taste buds.
TransNusa stressed that it had managed to ensure that its fares were extremely competitive despite providing all these premium airline services.
TransNusa currently has two bases in Indonesia – Bali and Jakarta.
It plans to expand its fleet by adding another two aircraft.
Besides its new Jakarta-Kuala Lumpur-Jakarta route, TransNusa operates 10 daily flights between Jakarta and Bali and three times daily from Jakarta to Jogjakarta.
