One-stop centre in Shah Alam equipped to handle all land matters

There are 46 counters and six meeting rooms at the OSC located on the first floor of the Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah building in Shah Alam.

The new Selangor Land and Mines Office’s (PTGS) one-stop centre (OSC) is expected to streamline processes and provide an easier experience for customers to handle any land matters.

Selangor Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari said the PTGS service counters at the new centre in the Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah building in Shah Alam would be equipped to deal with land ownership registration, strata and land document submissions as well as land tax and fee payments.

The OSC has 46 counters, six meeting rooms and a Smartbox kiosk.

The Smartbox system is a digital box where customers can drop off documents on land title transfer matters.

The construction cost of the centre was RM10.76mil, said Amirudin.

“Construction on the centre started on Dec 14, 2020, and it was completed on Dec 29, 2022.

“The OSC paves the way for the implementation of land administration digital platform e-Tanah in Selangor, which is scheduled to be launched in September,” he said at the OSC’s launch.

PTGS director Dr Yusri Zakariah said with the OSC, customers could settle all land matters on one floor, which is Level 1 of the building.

On the upcoming implementation of e-Tanah in Selangor, he said that after the launch, the system would act as a single point of contact for customers, so each counter would be able to handle all aspects of property matters.

“This will ensure PTGS employees are knowledgeable on all land matters and improve efficiency,” he added.

The OSC began operations on March 1 this year.
