Stylish living at Jelutong condo scheme

Airmas Group employees briefing visitors on Alton Sky Villas in Jelutong.

AIRMAS Group’s Alton Sky Villas aims to set a new benchmark of luxurious living in the old town of Jelutong, Penang.

The freehold development set on about 0.5ha of land comprises 161 condominium units in a 29-storey tower.

The company’s manager Yin Ooi said there were eight different layouts for buyers to choose from, with standard units occupying the 9th to 26th floors.

These include the Type A at 1,132sq ft with three bedrooms and two bathrooms while Types B1 and B2 measure 1,658sq ft and 1,687sq ft respectively and have three bedrooms and five bathrooms.

Unit prices start from RM800,000.

Yin Ooi said buyers looking for more lavish spaces could opt for larger units on the 27th to 29th floors.

Types D1 and D2 are 1,805sq ft and 1,866sq ft respectively, also with three bedrooms and five bathrooms.

Type F1 at 2,672sq ft and F2 at 2,274sq ft have four bedrooms and five bathrooms each.

There is also Type E at 1,335sq ft with three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

“Besides the prime location and low-density environment, another of Alton’s unique features is the provision of parking bays for a minimum of three vehicles.

“Market response has been great and many units have already been taken up,” Yin Ooi said during the official opening of the project’s showroom.

The development is located between Jalan Tengku and Jalan Mohd Taib, off the main road Jalan Jelutong.

It is right next to the group’s completed residential development, Artis 3.

Construction for Alton is slated to begin sometime this month, with completion expected by the end of 2026.

The development comes with all the recreational amenities one expects of a high-rise scheme.

On the facilities deck will be an infinity pool, wading pool, jacuzzi, gymnasium, meditation deck, playground, yoga room, dance room, children’s playroom and several lounges.

On the ground level, there will be a multi-purpose hall, barbeque lounge, car parking space for the disabled, car washing bay and impressive drop-off area.

The other perks of living at Alton include round-the-clock security and a convenient location with good accessibility.

The Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu coastal expressway is nearby, connecting to various key areas from George Town to the Bayan Lepas Free Industrial Zone as well as both Penang bridges and the international airport.

Within the vicinity are food courts, retail shops, wet markets, schools, banks and healthcare facilities.

“Our main target market is locals who are buying for their own stay,” Yin Ooi added.

Also present for the opening of the project’s showroom was Airmas Group director Ooi Bak Chai.

The showroom is open from 11am to 4pm daily.
