IN conjunction with the upcoming Hari Raya, IPC Shopping Centre in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, is offering special promotions under its “Raya Meriah Max” campaign until May 1.

Visitors during this campaign period can take pictures with the fusion traditional-meets-neon décor on display at the mall concourse.

This Raya décor, like previous installations, incorporates sustainable materials like compressed towelled wood boards, paper and fabric which are reused and recycled, according to a press release from the mall.

IPC has also brought back the outdoor al-fresco area where people can berbuka puasa with their friends and family.

The outdoor dining area is open daily from 10am to 10pm for everyone to enjoy take-away meals from the shopping centre’s food and beverage tenants.

Diners are encouraged to segregate their food waste and packaging into the allocated bins and help keep the area tidy for the next user.

Until May 1, shoppers can enjoy special promotions and great rewards.Until May 1, shoppers can enjoy special promotions and great rewards.

Parking at the shopping centre is free on weekdays from 6pm to 8pm for the buka puasa crowd, until April 21.

IPC Shopping Centre general manager Karyn Lim said, “IPC is a meeting place for our communities to come together and create new experiences.

“With that, we welcome our Muslim shoppers to berbuka puasa and get ready for their Raya celebrations with us.

“We are proud of our continued sustainability efforts, which are at the core of the centre’s business strategy.

“Just like our previous festive installations, this year’s decorations feature reused, repurposed and sustainable materials.

“It is our hope that this continues to inspire our shoppers to embrace greener habits.”

Shoppers who spend a minimum of RM1,000 (RM800 for Tack Club members) in three receipts will receive a Maifan Stone cooking pot, while those who spend a minimum of RM200 in two receipts will receive RM10 Meriah evouchers or Meriah Raya Packet sets.

Weekend shoppers with children can take part in fun DIY and upcycling workshops at Funland, Level 2, for children aged 12 years old and younger (on a first-come-first-serve basis, priority given to Små Club members).

There will be festive performances and the Små Club Buddies mascot will make its rounds.
