TOKIO Marine Insurans (Malaysia) Bhd (Tokio Marine) and Suzuki Malaysia Sdn Bhd (Suzuki) have announced a partnership to provide exclusive insurance and motor add-on covers for Suzuki motorcycle owners.

A signing ceremony was held at the Tokio Marine headquarters at Menara Hap Seng 3 in Kuala Lumpur and was attended by representatives from both companies.

They included Suzuki Malaysia general manager and director Datuk Jeffrey Lim Chee Sing and his team and Tokio Marine chief executive officer Ng Hang Ming, deputy chief executive officer Masaaki Morimoto and representatives from the senior management team.

As part of this partnership, Tokio Marine has been appointed as sole panel insurer for Suzuki.

The collaboration aims to promote Suzuki Exclusive Coverage, which offers motorcycle owners comprehensive insurance coverage, including roadside assistance and other optional motor add-on benefits.

In celebration of the new partnership, Tokio Marine has launched a campaign for their Suzuki motorcycle policyholders until June 30.

During the campaign period, Suzuki motorcycle owners who sign up for Tokio Marine Motorcycle insurance will receive nine complimentary add-ons.

The complimentary add-on benefits include Accidental Death and Permanent Disablement, Medical Expenses and Daily Hospital Income.

“This partnership is a testament to our commitment to providing quality insurance coverage and support for Suzuki motorcycle owners in Malaysia.

“We want to ensure that our customers have access to a reliable and comprehensive insurance plan,” said Morimoto.

“This partnership between Suzuki and Tokio Marine underscores our commitment to provide customers with quality insurance coverage and support.

“It also highlights our dedication to promoting road safety and providing value-added services to our customers,” said Lim.

Collaboration between the two companies will benefit the motorcycle community in Malaysia by providing affordable insurance and motorcycle add-on covers for both big and small Suzuki bike owners.
