MAGNUM Corporation conducted a home enhancement programme (HEP) at Rainbow Home in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur.

The corporation provided services such as repairing, refurbishing and replacement of faulty equipment at the home that houses underprivileged, abandoned, abused and orphaned children.

This project was to ensure the children of Rainbow Home could live in a comfortable, safe and sustainable environment.

Magnum ENE (Selangor and East Coast) regional operations manager Lim See Chin visited Rainbow Home and contributed items worth about RM8,000 to its director and founder Sheng Chwee Yong.

“By living up to the MagnumCares theme ‘For You, With You’, we hope to bring care and comfort to those in need,” said Lim.

Rainbow Home, which houses 28 children, is identified as the beneficiary of Magnum’s Selangor HEP 2023 programme.

Two boys’ dormitories and one girls’ dormitory, study, dining and living room as well as the kitchen areas were given a fresh coat of paint.

The MagnumCares’ team also engaged an electrician to check the electric sockets and fix any faulty lighting.

Items that were replaced and installed included eco-friendly LED lights and bamboo curtains in the study area, while the dining hall and walkways were also refurbished.
