200 brand new mattresses given to welfare homes

In LINE with its corporate social responsibility programme, Harvey Norman has donated 200 new mattresses to homes for the needy.

Harvey Norman Malaysia lead general manager Eddy Ng said in a statement that Soserv Welfare Malaysia and Persatuan Kebajikan Orang-Orang Tua Bahagia received 30 single-bed mattresses each.

Persatuan Kebajikan Kanak-kanak Istimewa Insan was given 60 mattresses while Rumah Victory Elderly, Children and Youth Home received 80 mattresses.

Ng along with Harvey Norman Malaysia chief operating officer Jonathan Toh launched Harvey Norman’s Bedding Fair at 1 Utama Shopping Centre in Petaling Jaya.

Themed “A Dreamy Escape – Find Your Perfect Sleepmate”, the fair offers the latest innovative mattresses from Hilker, Sealy, Napure, Serta, Van Vorst and Musterring.

The attractively priced premium mattresses from the United States and Germany will be going at half price.

This is coupled with an additional 20% off with a minimum spending of RM10,000, and an additional 10% off for delivery before June 30.

There will also be attractive trade-in rebates up to RM1,000 and double UPoints for OneCard members.

Customers buying the top-quality mattresses can now pay in interest-free instalments up to 36 months with no extra charge.

There is also an option to pay with LatitudePay in instalments of three, six or 12 months, in which customers will get an instant rebate of RM200, and a free upgrade to a Comfortmark II waterproof mattress protector.

The mattress protector comes with a three-year warranty on the mattress fabric, worth up to RM429.

Weekend activities at the fair include happy hour deals, free chiropractic screening and consultation.

Shoppers can get consultation from Harvey Norman’s bedding experts at the fair.

The event at the ground-floor centre court at 1 Utama Shopping Centre will end on May 21.
