A MURAL featuring unsung heroes – firefighters – is the latest addition to Penang’s vibrant art scene.

The 100m-long painting featuring firemen in action is located at the back lane next to the 115-year-old Central Fire Station in Beach Street.

Built in 1908, it is said to be the oldest fire station in the country.

The mural in the heritage enclave of George Town is now attracting tourists and shutterbugs alike who are seeking “Instagrammable” moments.
