FRENCH premium wheat beer 1664 Blanc is hosting the third edition of its “Bon Appetit-lah” experience at the iconic Sentul Depot in Kuala Lumpur.

The former railway engineering workshop, now known for its rustic charm, has been transformed into a pop-up 1664 lounge offering a unique experience until June 17.

Within the weathered walls of Workshop 3 is a modern bistro complete with a dining hall, bar and deli area as well as cosy lounge for the event.

“Bon Appetit-lah” aims to raise appreciation of good food and drinks, evoking the French spirit of joie de vivre (joy of living).

The event features a variety of activities and treats for guests.

They can enjoy a complimentary drink of either 1664 Blanc or 1664 Rose on arrival as well as an assortment of gourmet snacks provided by local food artisans.

This year’s gourmet bites served at the venue are concocted by NoLabel Cuisine, Waka Waka Gelato, The Bao Guys and Flaaah The Bakery.

Creative spaces have also been set up for guests to interact with the iconic blue bottle of 1664 in artistic ways, either by making their mark on the graffiti wall or creating their own 1664 decorative light.

Additionally, guests can get a caricature of themselves at the Portrait with a Twist section on selected days

The event is also pet-friendly, hosting specific activities for owners and their pets on weekends.

Alternatively, visitors can just sit back, take in the atmosphere and enjoy the entertainment by guest headliners Juztin Lan, Gaston Pong and Babychair during the Blue Hour on Saturday.

“1664’s continuous journey to captivate consumers with the simple pleasures of life has allowed us to turn the ordinary into extraordinary experiences for everyone,” said Carlsberg Malaysia marketing director Olga Pulyaeva.

“From our recent charming Parisian-inspired street Rue 1664 to the curated 1664 Valentine’s Day celebration at Dadi Cinema in Pavilion Bukit Bintang Kuala Lumpur, we hope to continue giving beer enthusiasts elevated shared moments that they can cherish for years to come.

“With this in mind, 1664 welcomes everyone to come savour an amazing dining affair complemented with an unparalleled drinking experience,” said Pulyaeva.

Guests interested in merchandise can visit the specialty store offering goods from various brands including limited-edition 1664 items.

The “Bon Appetit-lah” event is held from 5pm to 10pm on weekdays and from 11am to 10pm on the weekend.
