350 exhibitors at beauty trade shows from Sept 27 to 30


The events will be showcasing innovative products with cutting-edge technology at KLCC.

HAVING enjoyed an overwhelming response in 2022, Informa Markets is announcing the return of beautyexpo’s 21st edition and Cosmobeauté Malaysia’s 18th edition from Sept 27 to 30 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC).

The show is set to make a greater impact this year with bigger halls and exciting highlights, where exhibitors will get the opportunity to showcase their latest products and innovations in the beauty industry.

As Malaysia’s largest and longest-running beauty trade shows, beautyexpo and Cosmobeauté Malaysia will focus on showcasing innovative products with cutting-edge technology while advocating for a more sustainable market.

A total of 350 exhibitors and top brands are expected to take part including aesthetic and spa, hair and nail, original equipment manufacturers, original design manufacturers, professionals as well as skincare products.

China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, the United Arab Emirates and Vietnam are among the countries that will be at the shows.

The events are expected to welcome 10,000 visitors from around the world, featuring top-level industry professionals, showcasing both emerging and leading brands, maximising business and networking opportunities between exhibitors and buyers.

“Beautyexpo and Cosmobeauté Malaysia is fully committed to supporting the revitalisation of businesses in the ever-changing beauty industry that has been redefined by the pandemic,” said Informa Markets Malaysia country general manager Gerard Leeuwenburgh.

The event’s support is drawn from several entities, including the Association of International Certified Aestheticians (AICA), Federation of Asian Beauty Industry Association (Fabia), International Beauty Industry Trade Association, Kuching Association of Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology, Malaysia Cosmetology Chamber of Commerce (PAMM), Malaysian Hairdressing Association (MHA) and United Asian Hairdressers Association (UAHA).

“We are intensifying efforts to unite all our association members at the expo, recognising the importance of collaboration and knowledge sharing in advancing the beauty aesthetic industry,” said AICA founder and president Prof Dr Ng Wee Kiong.

“By doing so, we can shape the industry’s future and inspire a forward-thinking mindset among industry players.”

MHA and UAHA president Dr Michael Poh said: “We are committed to advancing the hair care industry in Malaysia, and we recognise the important role that beautyexpo and Cosmobeauté Malaysia play in driving innovation and progress.”

Fabia Asia Pacific president and PAMM chairman Alvin Loh said: “The shows offer various resources for product discovery, business opportunities, networking and knowledge sharing, making it a premier platform for all stakeholders.
