OSK Property, in partnership with OSK Foundation, refurbished Mambau police station in Seremban, Negri Sembilan.

The project on the 41-year-old building was part of OSK’s corporate social responsibility initiatives to create a comfortable workplace as well as ensure the welfare of police personnel.

The refurbishment and upgrading works involved repairs and repainting of the interior and exterior of the police station, upgrading the flooring and providing air-conditioning system for the staff office.

OSK said in a media statement that it hoped the refurbished station would provide a more efficient working environment.

OSK Property chief executive officer Ong Ghee Bin said they were proud to have done their part as a responsible property developer.

“We hope this contribution will enhance the safety and well-being of our community.

“We also thank the local police force for their cooperation. We hope that the refurbished police station will serve them well for many years to come,” said Ong.

Seremban district police District Management Department head Dept Supt Mohd Khairi Jamaludin expressed his gratitude to OSK Property for their contribution.

“We are very grateful to OSK Property for transforming our police station into a comfortable and functional facility.

“This will greatly improve our operational capacity and morale as well as our relationship with the public,” said DSP Mohd Khairi during a ceremony to hand over the refurbished police station.

Meanwhile, OSK Property’s flagship township Iringan Bayu in Seremban is poised to offer a holistic neighbourhood that promotes green living in Negri Sembilan’s capital city.

Sprawled across 675ha of freehold land, the township features modern homes and a 8.9ha wetland park that offers an escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.

The township will be unveiling its latest precinct soon, comprising single-storey terrace houses with built-ups from 1,000sq ft and prices starting from RM225,000, as well as double-storey terrace houses with built-ups from 1,700sq ft and prices from RM420,000.

Homeowners will be able to experience a wholesome living environment in close proximity with the wetland park, which enables a close-to-nature lifestyle.
